This book is a classic, its principles can be applied by everyone.  These four principles are essential concepts for your personal freedom.  When you incorporate these beliefs, the author, Miguel Ruiz, says your life will “become filled with grace, peace, and unconditional love.”

Be Impeccable With Your Word

Speak with honesty, don’t waste your breath.  Say only what you mean.  Speak from the heart.  Avoid speaking to gossip about others or against yourself.  Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.  Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

Don’t Take Anything Personally

Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality.  When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of pointless suffering.

Don’t Make Assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you truly desire.  When communicating with others, communicate as clearly as possible to avoid misunderstandings, drama.  Apply this principle and you can see remarkable differences.

Always Do Your Best

Your best will change from moment to moment.  When you are sick for example, it will be difference then if your healthy.  Simply put, under any circumstance always do your best.  When you do your best, you will avoid regret, self-judgement, and live life to your fullest.
